Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) chairman Raja Nasir Abbas announced the conclusion of sit-ins, urging participants to peacefully return home.
He expressed hope that workers would disperse in an orderly manner and noted that protestors in Kurram would withdraw once the convoy reached the area.
Abbas emphasized that the sit-ins were organized to amplify the voices of the oppressed, highlighting that protests had taken place nationwide and internationally, including in Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Europe, Australia, and the United States.
He criticized the provincial government for using force against peaceful demonstrators in Karachi and condemned authorities for celebrating New Year’s night in the city while ignoring the bloodshed of innocents.
Abbas vowed to seek justice for the "blood of innocent victims" through legal means and extended condolences to the families of the martyrs. He urged Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to investigate the killings of innocent individuals.
The MWM chief reaffirmed the party’s resolve to pursue legal action against those responsible. He also stated that an agreement had been signed by both parties, with its implementation now depending on the government.
