For many families, buying a laptop is not affordable, and this scheme is meant to make sure that financial challenges do not stop students from attending online classes, doing research, or even freelancing from home.

A major concern for students is whether their application has been accepted. To solve this, the government has set up an easy online system. Students whose names don’t appear on the list are advised to first contact their university’s focal person.
