PISHIN: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has said that education and health sectors are at the top priority of the provincial government.
He said this while addressing a ceremony organised in connection with the 77th Pakistan Independence Day, here on Wednesday.
The chief minister announced many development projects for Pishin district.
He said that the people of Pishin had supported the Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, adding that the elders here have always been loyal to Pakistan.
He claimed that teachers of colleges and schools, who draw salaries from the government kitty, must not sit at their homes and have to come and teach.
He further said, "I promise when I come here next time, the teachers will their schools.
He observed that new districts and divisions should be established on administrative basis, adding that they should be set up on linguistic basis as Pakistan is our top priority.
The chief minister also announced many uplift projects including upgradation of middle school to high school, setting up of 50-bed hospital, establishment of Rescue 1122 centre on Pishin Highway and campus of Balochistan University.
He asserted that local government system would be strengthened and grants for local councils would be doubled. The Balochistan chief minister also announced a grant of Rs100 million for Pishin local council.
