New York: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly today.
According to international media reports, Arab and Muslim countries have decided to boycott Netanyahu's speech in protest. Delegates from these countries are expected to walk out of the assembly hall during his address.
The boycott comes in response to Netanyahu’s previous remarks about the "Greater Israel" plan, which has been widely condemned by leaders of Muslim nations as a threat to the security and stability of Arab countries and the broader region.
Today’s General Assembly proceedings include two sessions, with 15 speakers scheduled in the first session and 10 in the second.
