The report suggested that Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan's son, Abhishek Bachchan, rushed to Bhopal on the night of October 22, 2024 (Tuesday). It also stated that Big B, Jaya, and other family members were traveling to Bhopal via a chartered plane. Reportedly, Indira Bhaduri underwent pacemaker surgery in Mumbai last year.

Jaya Bachchan was born as Jaya Bhaduri in a Bengali household to Tarun Kumar Bhaduri, a journalist, author, and poet, and his wife, Indira Bhaduri. She graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. The veteran actress made her acting debut in the 1963 film "Mahanagar", directed by the late legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
