KARACHI: The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs700 to Rs277,900 per tola in the local market on Thursday (Oct 17).
Similarly, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs238,254 following a rise of Rs600, as per the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, the gold price had increased by Rs2,200 to settle at a then-record high level Rs277,200.
Silver prices remained stable at Rs3,050 per tola.
