KARACHI: The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs4,300 to Rs278,400 per tola in the local market on Monday (Nov 25).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs3,657, reaching Rs238,683, as per the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the gold price per tola had increased by Rs2,200, closing at Rs282,700.
On the international market, gold prices declined on Monday. According to APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,672 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a drop of $43 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices also fell, decreasing by Rs50 to settle at Rs3,400 per tola.
