On December 6, 2024, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan saw a decrease of Rs1,000, settling at Rs274,700 per tola, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. The price had been Rs275,700 per tola on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs578, from Rs236,368 to Rs235,511. The cost of 10-gram 22-karat gold also decreased, falling to Rs215,885 from Rs216,671.
Both per tola and per 10-gram silver remained steady, priced at Rs3,400 and Rs2,914.95, respectively.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $10, dropping from $2,645 to $2,635. The fluctuation in local gold prices mirrors global market trends.
