Amid significant economic changes, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is swiftly streamlining its visa application process to enhance accessibility and user-friendliness for visitors.
In a bid to facilitate this, authorities in the Middle Eastern nation have reduced the time needed to cancel work permits.
As part of their latest initiative, multiple government ministries and federal authorities are launching a platform aimed at simplifying the hiring process for business owners and private companies, including the renewal of work permits for existing employees.
UAE Work Bundle
The 'Work Bundle' platform can now cancel a worker's work permit in less than a minute, a significant improvement from the previous 3 minutes, and without requiring any documents.
Initially launched in Dubai in March, the first phase of the Work Bundle is now expanding to other regions. The second phase aims to encompass approximately 60,000 companies and over 700,000 workers.
Amidst new residency procedures attracting thousands of Pakistanis and individuals from various parts of the world to seek employment in the UAE, the Work Bundle offers several services. These include issuing new work permits, applying for status adjustments, issuing visas and employment contracts, Emirates ID cards, accommodation arrangements, and medical examination services, among others.
