President Sheikh Mohamed has issued a directive to release 735 prisoners from correctional and penal facilities in anticipation of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Additionally, he will personally cover all fines and penalties imposed on these inmates, who had been serving jail terms for various offenses. Last year, Sheikh Mohamed similarly ordered the release of 1,018 inmates who met the conditions for amnesty during the country's National Day celebrations.
