New York: Iran will give strong and appropriate response of any U.S. attack, Iranian Ambassador Saeed Iravani
During an emergency meeting of the Security Council, Iran's Ambassador Saeed Iravani made it clear that Iran would respond decisively and appropriately to any U.S. attack.
He stated that Iranian military forces will determine the timing and nature of any response.
Iravani urged the United States to cease baseless accusations, which he described as politically motivated and lacking legal justification.
He further criticized the misuse of non-proliferation treaties, claiming they have been politicized and used as tools for aggression and illegal actions.
At the same time, Iran called on the international community to take the situation seriously and to take measures to maintain peace and stability in the region.
