Karachi: The city is expected to experience hot and dry weather today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are expected to range from a minimum of 19.5°C to a maximum of 32°C, with the current temperature at 21°C.
Humidity levels remain at 73%, and winds are blowing from the northwest at 6 km/h. Skies are forecast to remain clear throughout the day, with no chance of rainfall.
Regional Outlook
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the prevailing synoptic pattern suggests predominantly dry weather across most parts of the country, with regional variations in temperature and cloud cover reflecting transitional seasonal dynamics.
In Islamabad and adjoining areas, conditions are expected to remain dry, though partial cloudiness may develop during the afternoon. Daytime temperatures are likely to hover between 27°C and 29°C.
Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the majority of districts will experience dry weather. However, mountainous regions may remain cold during the early morning and nighttime hours.
By evening or night, districts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, and Battagram could witness partly cloudy skies accompanied by isolated light rainfall. Temperatures in the province’s plains are projected between 29°C and 31°C, while hilly areas may record 20°C to 22°C.
In Punjab, most districts are forecast to remain dry. Central and southern parts of the province are expected to see daytime temperatures ranging from 31°C to 33°C.
Murree, the Galiyat region, and surrounding high-altitude areas are likely to experience cold and partly cloudy conditions, with the possibility of gusty winds and light rain with thunder after noon. Morning fog is anticipated in Narowal and Sialkot.
For Kashmir, cold weather is expected to persist under partly cloudy skies. Light rainfall is forecast in the Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, and adjoining localities.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy conditions are likely, with isolated light showers possible during the evening or nighttime hours.
Across Sindh, dry weather is expected to prevail in most districts, with daytime temperatures projected between 33°C and 36°C.
Meanwhile, Balochistan is forecast to remain largely dry. Northern districts may experience cold conditions during the early morning and night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 21°C to 23°C.
Southern parts of the province are expected to remain comparatively warmer, with temperatures between 33°C and 35°C.
Overall, the PMD indicates stable atmospheric conditions nationwide, punctuated by sporadic precipitation in upper regions and elevated daytime temperatures across the plains.
