Liron Petrushka, a 57-year-old Israeli-American entrepreneur and investor, tragically lost his life alongside his wife, Naomi Petrushka, in a plane crash near Tahoe Truckee Airport in Northern California. The incident, which occurred during a snowstorm, left behind their three children.

Departing from Centennial Airport in Denver, Liron and Naomi were flying their single-engine TBM aircraft (N960LP) when the crash happened around 6:43 p.m. during their approach to Tahoe Truckee Airport. Reduced visibility caused by the snowstorm is believed to be the primary cause, although investigations by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are ongoing.

Naomi Petrushka, Liron's wife, was a highly educated individual with credentials from prestigious institutions like Washington University, The Wharton School, and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She held significant roles such as General Manager at Petrushka Investments, LLC, and was involved in academia at the University of Nevada.

Born in Israel in 1966, Liron Petrushka excelled as an athlete during his youth. He ventured into entrepreneurship at a young age, founding PCM Inc. at 21 in 1994. Subsequently, he established US GRoup and Commercebid.com, the latter of which he sold for $200 million before founding Petrushka Investments in 2001, where he served as a director until his passing.
