Xiaomi has officially launched its foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, globally, with a starting price of €1,299 (~$1,447) for the standard 12GB/512GB version. Initially released in China at the start of 2024, the Mix Flip made its European debut in Bulgaria in August before expanding to global markets.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip boasts an impressive design with a 6.86-inch folding OLED display featuring a resolution of 2,912 x 1,224 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has a 4.01-inch cover screen with a resolution of 1,392 x 1,208 pixels, offering a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.Under the hood, the Mix Flip is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and houses a robust 4,780mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging for a superior charging experience.
In terms of photography, the device features a Leica-branded rear camera system, including a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, which has a minimum focusing distance of approximately nine centimeters. For selfies, it offers a 32MP front camera, enhancing video calling capabilities.
In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at €1,199 (~$1,336) for its 12GB/256GB base model. While the Z Flip 6 offers a competitive price, Xiaomi’s Mix Flip stands out with a larger battery, enhanced camera features, IP rating, and wireless charging capabilities.
