Misbah-ul-Haq is the head coach, and Wasim Akram is the president of the Hyderabad Bahadurs.

Shoaib Akhtar serves as the team's brand ambassador, and Moin Khan is the head coach of the Mirpurkhas Tigers.

Cricket players from over the country are excited to play in the SPL. The video messages that Shahnawaz Dahani, Sharjeel Khan, and Asad Shafiq filmed are available on SPL's social media channels.

Six teams—the Benazirabad Lals, Hyderabad Bahadurs, Karachi Gladiators, Khairpur Royals, Larkana Challengers, and Sukkur Patriots—will compete in the eagerly awaited event.

Recall that the SPL was originally slated to run from December 14 to December 25, but it was postponed due to conflict with the PCB's ongoing Presidents Trophy.

The SPL management re-announced the schedule in a statement.

“After careful consideration and in the interest of enhancing the overall experience of the league, the organizing committee has decided to reschedule the SPL to new dates from 25th January to 5th February 2024.

“This extension allows us to diligently plan and execute an event that upholds the standards of excellence expected from the SPL. The decision was made after a comprehensive assessment aimed at ensuring a more conducive environment for the participation and enjoyment of all involved,” the statement concluded.
