The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said that hot and dry weather will continue across most parts of the country in the coming days, with extremely hot conditions expected in the southern plains.
According to the PMD, dry continental air is currently dominating most regions, which is causing the ongoing hot and dry spell.
Most areas will stay dry, though some places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may see isolated rain, wind, or thunderstorms.
Similar weather is expected with temperatures likely to rise further in Sindh and southern Punjab. The PMD warned that afternoons in these areas will be extremely hot, especially in Sindh.
