NEW YORK: President of Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif has said constitutional institutions have destroyed the Constitution and the country, adding that that PIA had been destroyed by the previous government of the PTI.
He expressed these views while talking to PML-N leaders and workers, here on Saturday.
The PML-N leader said that PIA was destroyed by the previous government, adding that a minister of the PTI cabinet said that the pilots had fake licenses but the fact was that they did not have fake licenses and even if they had, it should not have been gone public. PIA was destroyed in the same way, he lamented.
He said, “Maryam Nawaz was suggesting me that we should take PIA, Maryam said me to make a new airline and buy new planes, Maryam wished to name this airline Air Punjab.”
He said, “I told Maryam to consult people concerned, you can buy PIA and establish a new airline, Air Punjab will fly from Pakistan to New York and all over the world.”
He maintained, "Don't tease me too much, and don’t take test of my patience. We have worked very patiently, we have endured what happened to us very patiently."
He further said, “Our people are masters of leg-pulling, and conspired against the works of the PML-N. Thanks to Allah, these conspiracies are being solved slowly.”
Nawaz said that there would not have been any unemployment in Pakistan today, Pakistan would have been very prosperous and it would have become an Asian Tiger, if the PML-N government had not been toppled.
