Parts of Pakistan including Islamabad and Rawalpindi received rainfall of changing intensities during the last 24 hours, making weather lovely by causing a considerable reduction in the mercury level. The rains distressed routine life by initiating flood on roads and roads in urban areas.

Nawabshah remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature reached 39 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 52 per cent.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 26 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 79 percent.
Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 27 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 62 percent.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over Pakistan’s upper parts.
Under the influence of these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of Pakistan on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday. However, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected at isolated places of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the period.
Islamabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 27-29 C on Monday and 28-30 C on Tuesday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 28-30 C on Monday and 29-31 C on Tuesday.
