KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has announced the schedule for the 2026 Matric and Intermediate examination results.
According to the department spokesperson Ismail Rahoo,, Matric results will be released by July 10, while Intermediate results will be announced by July 31. The decision was made during a meeting of all education boards chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the annual Matric and Intermediate examinations held across Sindh. Representatives from all education boards shared updates about the exams conducted in their respective divisions.
The minister instructed all boards to ensure that Matric results are announced by July 10 and Intermediate results by July 31. Officials also informed the meeting that Class 9 and Class 11 results will be issued by August 31.
Speaking at the meeting, Ismail Rahoo stressed the importance of releasing results on time. He said timely results would help students complete their admission process without delays. The minister also said the government would provide full support to improve transparency, merit, and the overall examination system across education boards in Sindh.
Officials further informed the meeting that legal action was taken against several individuals for violating Section 144 during examinations in Karachi. The annual examinations began in April and are expected to conclude by mid-June.
However, the examination process has faced criticism due to allegations of bribery, paper leaks, and administrative shortcomings. These concerns have raised questions about the fairness and management of the examination system.
