KARACHI: The most wanted terrorist of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Akhtar alias Ekku alias Bengali, arrested from Lyari.
The Rangers and Counter Terrorism Department in Karachi jointly arrested Akhtar alias Akku alias Bengali, the most wanted terrorist of BLF in Lyari.
Rangers spokesman said that the arrested accused was involved in several terrorist incidents while arms and immunization were also recovered from the possession of Akhtar alias Ekku.
The spokesman said that the accused joined the BLF in 2019 at the behest of Faraz aka Ganj, the accused was involved in reccki several sensitive places and making videos.
During the interrogation, the accused, Akhtar Ako, made important revelations.
Spokesman Rangers added that the accused opened fire on a foreign citizen's vehicle at Kambela bus Stop Lyari, a foreign citizen and a passenger was injured in the firing.
The spokesman said that the videos of journalists were sent to BLF's commander, Abdul Rahman alias Adnan alias David, on October 10, 2021.
The spokesman said BLF terrorists attached a magnetic bomb device in the car of local journalist, Shahid Zehri, who killed, and two others injured in the bomb explosion.
On November 1, 2021, another journalist, Akram Sajidi, was also killed in another explosion of a magnetic bomb device in Hub town of Balochistan.
The more important revelations are expected from the arrested terrorists.
The arrested accused was handed over to the CTD for further legal action.
