Lahore and various parts of Punjab are expected to experience significant rain, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, from April 12 to April 15, with intermittent breaks.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), an approaching westerly wave is anticipated to enter the upper regions of Pakistan on April 10. This will be succeeded by another potent westerly wave on April 12, which is likely to affect most areas of the country from April 13 to April 15.
Under the influence of this weather system, intermittent rains are expected across Punjab from April 12 to April 15.
Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal from on April 10 and then from April 12 to April 15 with occasional gaps.
Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar from April 12 to April 15 with occasional gaps.
Isolated windstorm/hailstorm is also expected from April 13 to April 15.

From April 13 to April 15, vulnerable areas of Murree and Galyat are at risk of experiencing landslides.
Additionally, there is a possibility of windstorms, hailstorms, and lightning, which could cause damage to standing crops, as well as loose structures like electric poles and solar panels.
Farmers, particularly those in wheat-growing regions, are urged to make necessary adjustments to their crops based on the weather forecast. Tourists are advised to refrain from unnecessary travel during this period of inclement weather.
