Huawei may soon introduce a new smartphone with a large 7-inch quad curved display, according to recent leaks from popular tipster digital chat station.
The report arrived before the official launch of the Huawei Nova 16 series and quickly attracted attention among smartphone fans. Huawei recently focused on flat screen designs for most of its smartphones, making this leak surprising for many industry watchers.

The company used flat displays in devices like the Mate 80 series, Pura 90 lineup, and earlier Nova smartphones. Huawei preferred flat panels because they improve durability and reduce accidental screen touches during daily use.
The company also paired these screens with Kunlun glass technology to improve drop resistance and reduce glare. Many users appreciated the better viewing comfort and practical design offered by flat-screen devices.However, the latest leak suggests Huawei could return to quad curved displays for a special premium smartphone. Reports indicate the upcoming device may feature an ultra slim body combined with a powerful Kirin 9 series chipset.
The phone could also include a large rear camera setup designed for flagship level photography and video performance. Industry sources believe the mysterious device may launch as the Huawei Mate 80 Air, although Huawei has not confirmed the official name yet.The leak also hints that Huawei plans to launch the device during the second half of this year. The company already prepares several major product announcements between September and November.
