KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court(ATC) in Karachi sentenced four people for killing former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Ali Raza Abidi to life imprisonment.
The anti-terrorism court sentenced four accused to life imprisonment after being found guilty of killing Raza Ali Abidi. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 on the accused and ordered that the other accused should be produced before the court whenever they are caught.
A case was registered against the accused under provisions of the Terrorism Act and Murder.
It should be noted that Raza Ali Abidi was shot dead by unknown assailants outside his residence in the Khayaban Ghazi area of the Defense Housing Authority(DHA) in 2018.

CTD spokesperson said that the arrested terrorists belong to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan (TTP), other terrorists of their network have also been identified.
