During a candid appearance on Nauman Ijaz’s talk show, model and actress Vaneeza Ahmed stirred up quite the discussion by critiquing fellow actress Ayeza Khan’s social media presence. The conversation, which quickly caught the public’s attention, focused on the kind of content celebrities share online and its impact on their audience.
Vaneeza, known for speaking her mind, specifically mentioned Ayeza Khan, who has a massive following of 14.1 million on Instagram. After taking a closer look at Ayeza’s posts, Vaneeza said, “I checked out her page and saw the kind of content she posts. While the public adores her pictures, I find some of the content quite irrelevant.” She expressed concern over the types of images Ayeza shares, highlighting how she, in contrast, prefers to use social media to connect with her audience in a more meaningful way rather than constantly posting for attention.
This sparked a variety of reactions from fans. Supporters of Ayeza defended her, arguing that celebrities have every right to share their lives and fashion choices with their followers. They pointed out that social media is a tool for self-expression, and Ayeza’s large following is proof of her influence and the love her fans have for her. One wrote, Lady lady lady!!! with all due respect, you are from Stone Age... Now! the world you live in... is all digital.. and about social media exposure."
On the other hand, some agreed with Vaneeza’s perspective, noting that celebrities should be mindful of the messages they send through their posts, especially considering their young followers.
