A “Filmfare” report states that Harshvardhan Rane, now one of the most sought-after actors of 2025 and currently basking in the success of Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release, might join the high-octane thriller “Race 4”.
Reports indicate that Harshvardhan’s rising popularity, especially after the successful re-release of “Sanam Teri Kasam”, has attracted several major offers. One of these includes the role of the antagonist in “Race 4”. Although his casting is not yet finalized, there is a strong chance the deal will be sealed. If confirmed, his presence would significantly enhance the franchise.
Earlier speculation suggested that Sidharth Malhotra was also under consideration for the film. In a conversation with news, Shiraz Ahmed, who has written all the previous "Race" films, revealed that the production of “Race 4” was scheduled to begin in January 2025.
