Although he reported the incident to the police, the case took a dramatic turn when a video allegedly featuring him with a woman named Aamna Arooj was leaked online. In an attempt to clear his name, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar shared his side of the story with journalist Muneezay Moeen. He described a harrowing experience where he was held at gunpoint by two individuals who recorded him with Aamna Arooj, who was involved with the gang. The kidnappers demanded that he perform an intimate act with Arooj, but Qamar, overwhelmed by fear and distress, refused. He said he was forced to remove his shirt but could not comply with their demands. The gang then left him without further confrontation.
