According to a Deadline report, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Matt Damon are the latest stars to join the untitled film.
While plot details remain under wraps, sources reveal that the movie is set in a time period that is not present day, though it's unclear whether it takes place in the past or future.
Nolan, who wrote the script and is directing, is backing the project alongside his producing partner and wife, Emma Thomas, for their production company Syncopy. Universal Pictures will distribute the film, with a release date set for July 17, 2026.
This film marks a reunion for real-life couple Tom Holland and Zendaya, who previously starred together in the Spider-Man franchise. “Tom and Zendaya aren't the only ones reuniting,” the report notes.
Hathaway, who worked with Nolan on The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar (2014), will return to collaborate with him again. Matt Damon, who starred in Interstellar and Oppenheimer, will also join the cast, continuing his successful partnership with Nolan.
