ISLAMABAD – Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to witness a big drop from June 16 as international oil rates continue to decrease amid Middle East crisis.
The federal government will adjust petrol prices on June 15, with the new rates becoming effective from June 16.
The anticipation of reduction in petroleum prices has increased owning to dropping oil prices in international market where per barrel rate has decreased by over $4.

Since April 16, the federal government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs24 per litre and the price of diesel by Rs20 per litre to offer relief to the public.
Current Petrol Price in Pakistan Today
On May 31, the government reduced the petrol price by Rs4.74 per litre and the diesel price by Rs3.68 per litre. As a result, the petrol price is now Rs268.36 per litre, and the diesel price is Rs273.10 per litre for the first half of June 2024.Expected New Petrol Price in Pakistan from June 16
