The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs3.100 to Rs280,500 per tola in the local market on Wednesday (Dec 11).
The price of 10-gram gold rose to Rs240,484, reflecting an increase of Rs2,658, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan went up by Rs1,000.
Globally, gold prices also climbed on Wednesday. The APGJSA reported the international gold rate at $2,693 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $31 rise during the day.
Silver prices experienced a rise as well, increasing by Rs50 to reach Rs3,450 per tola.
