Documents Required for Emirates ID for Bangladesh Expats
To apply for an Emirates ID card, you'll need the following:
- A valid passport.
- A permit that allows you to have a valid residence permit, renew a residence permit, or have a valid residence permit if you didn't get an ID card when you got your residence permit.
- A recent personal photo (4.5 x 3.5 cm) with a white background, regardless of age.
- For children under 15, either their original birth certificate, one parent's passport, or their Emirates ID.
- If someone else is applying on your behalf, they'll need the original agency certificate to prove they're authorized.

In April 2024, here are the fees you'll need to pay to get a new Emirates ID card in the UAE:
- AED 100 (varies based on the duration): Fee for issuing the card for five years.
- AED 150: Service fee.
- AED 30: Typing center fee.
- AED 150: Additional fee for urgent service, available at customer happiness centers.
