LAHORE: The cost dynamics of poultry products in the market have seen a shift, with the live broiler chicken price surging by Rs. 3 to Rs. 440 per piece at retail.
The wholesale rate for live broiler chicken is fixed at Rs 424. Meanwhile, chicken meat now costs Rs 638 per kg, experiencing a Rs 4 increase.
Conversely, the price of eggs has taken a downward turn, decreasing by Rs. 33 per dozen, now priced at Rs 337 per dozen for farm eggs.
Notably, the previous day's rates were Rs 634 for chicken meat, Rs 437 for live broiler chicken at the wholesale level and Rs 421 per kg at the retail level. These fluctuations reflect the ongoing dynamics in the poultry market.
