US President Donald Trump, while speaking at the White House, shared important details about negotiations with Iran.
He said that agreements had been reached on many issues with Iran, but no consensus could be achieved on the uranium matter. Trump added that Vice President J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner conducted the negotiations very effectively. He claimed that Iran handled the talks poorly, but had sent a message showing eagerness to reach a deal.
Trump made it clear that Iran would never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and said that nuclear material would be taken from Iran. He stressed that the United States would not allow any country to engage in blackmail.

He further said that the world depends on the Strait of Hormuz and claimed that the US has started a blockade there. He added that several countries could take part in blocking Iranian ports.
Trump also mentioned that 34 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz the previous day. He claimed that the US has larger oil reserves than Saudi Arabia and Russia, and that many countries are currently turning to the US to purchase oil.
