In light of the escalating temperatures, all public and private schools throughout Punjab, including Lahore and Rawalpindi, will observe summer vacations in 2024 starting from June.
As per reports, the Punjab Education Minister has confirmed that the summer break will commence from June 7, 2024, and extend until August 19, 2024. This prolonged closure, spanning over two months, aims to safeguard students from the oppressive heat.
With temperatures already reaching 40 degrees Celsius in Lahore and expected to rise further in the coming days, there are concerns about heat-related health risks such as heatstroke and dehydration. To mitigate these risks and ensure the safety of students, the administration has opted to close schools across the province for an extended period during the summer months.
Summer Vacations 2024 for Schools in Lahore
Like other cities, all public and private schools will observe summer vacations 2024 from June 7 to August 19.
Summer Holidays 2024 Schedule for Rawalpindi
All schools will remain closed in Rawalpindi from June 7 to August 19, 2024 on account of summer vacations.
