Islamabad: Candidate for Chairman PEC Engineer Syed Ashfaq Shah has said that the role of engineers in national development is very important, focusing on the problems faced by engineers and the way forward is one of our priorities.
Along with Dr Shahab Khushnood and Dr. Javed AK Tipu, while addressing the engineers on the occasion of the visit to UET Taxila, he also met the Vice-Chancellor and faculty members.
Syed Ashfaq Shah said that yonger generation is drifitng away from the engineering profession and we see a deliing trend in number of applicants applying for a Engjneering degree whichbis alraming.
After graduating from universities with engineering degrees, students cannot find themselves suitable job opportunities. Our priorities also include that the graduates can play their role for national development .
