Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has shot down six Indian aircrafts, including three Rafale jets in a decisive response to Indian misadventure.
While speaking at the Pakistan Air Force’s Minhas Airbase in Kamra, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the armed forces for their remarkable performance, saying that their bravery has lifted the nation’s pride to new heights.
He sent a strong warning to the enemy, saying that if anyone looks at Pakistan with bad intentions, they will be crushed underfoot. He called the recent victory the most glorious in Pakistan’s history, claiming it has changed how the world sees the country, both in the region and globally. He said the enemy has been given a lesson it won’t forget.
The prime minister praised the Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, for leading from the front during what he described as a historic win against India, and also congratulated the Air Chief and Naval Chief for their roles.
He said that May 10 is a day that will always be remembered for showcasing Pakistan’s technical strength around the world, and that Pakistan forced India to surrender in less than 10 hours — something that has changed the world’s view of the country. He said the courage of Pakistani soldiers has changed how the world thinks, and that Pakistan’s powerful response has shifted the balance of power.
He highlighted the Air Chief’s role and said it will be remembered in golden words, also mentioning how 240 million Pakistanis stood united and prayed for the military’s success.
The prime minister talked about the downing of Indian Rafale jets, saying the way they were targeted will stay in Modi’s memory forever.
He appreciated the tireless efforts of the troops, who were supported by their parents’ prayers and risked their lives for the country. He said Pakistan showed patience and restraint during the conflict, which made its response even more meaningful.
