Expect continued hot and dry weather in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various parts of Sindh from Wednesday night through Friday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
A main continental air mass covers much of Pakistan, accompanied by a shallow westerly wave over the upper and western regions of the country. These conditions will likely lead to high temperatures and dry conditions in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most districts of the province over the next few days due to the absence of rainfall.
Temperatures in Karachi are forecasted to range from 37-39 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday, while Hyderabad may experience temperatures between 42-44°C on Thursday and 43-45°C on Friday.
The past 24 hours saw hot and dry weather persisting in Hyderabad, Karachi, and other districts of Sindh. Dadu registered the highest temperature in the province at 49°C, with relative humidity at 18% in the evening.
Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 40°C, with relative humidity at 52% in the evening, while Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 43°C, with relative humidity at 22% in the evening.
