Widespread rainfall in Lahore and various other cities across the country brought a much-needed change in the weather.
Several areas, including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kasur, Attock, and Rahim Yar Khan, experienced rain showers, while different regions of Balochistan also received significant rainfall.
Heavy downpours in Quetta, Sibi, and Kalat led to a noticeable drop in temperatures, whereas light showers in Sindh contributed to a more pleasant atmosphere.
Meanwhile, intermittent rain and snowfall persist in parts of Azad Kashmir, causing road closures in upper regions. In Gilgit, continuous heavy rainfall and landslides have obstructed multiple sections of the Karakoram Highway.
Near Dasu, a landslide triggered by heavy rain left several people stranded, while a flash flood at Lal Pari washed away a section of the road. Authorities have advised residents to avoid traveling on the Karakoram Highway for the next two days due to safety concerns.
