As of May 2024, the fees for urgent category passports have been updated as follows:

Standard 36-page passport for 5 years: The urgent fee has been increased from 5,000 rupees to 7,500 rupees.
10-year passport with 36 pages: The urgent fee is now set at 11,200 rupees.

Additionally, individuals choosing larger passport sizes, like a 72-page passport valid for 5 years, will pay an urgent fee of 13,500 rupees, while a 100-page passport valid for 10 years will incur an urgent fee of 20,200 rupees.
