Atif Mohammad Khan, renowned actress Nadia Hussain's husband and former CEO of a private bank's securities, has been arrested over allegations of financial misconduct involving 540 million rupees, according to reports.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) confirmed his arrest after an inquiry was launched based on a complaint from the company’s board of directors.

Authorities allege that Atif Khan misappropriated 80 million rupees from corporate funds for personal trading. Additionally, he reportedly obtained 654 million rupees through a third party, repaying it with high-interest payments using company resources.

The FIA has also implicated former Chief Financial Officer Faisal Sheikh and another associate, Imtiaz Ahmed, in facilitating the fraudulent activities. Officials have stated that further investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the financial discrepancies.

The arrest has generated significant public attention, particularly due to Khan’s high-profile marriage to Nadia Hussain, a well-known figure in the entertainment and fashion industry. Authorities are expected to release further details as the case develops.
