Donald Trump and Xi Jinping held a phone conversation to discuss trade and bilateral relations, according to Chinese media.

Trump said the call with Xi was productive and confirmed they will meet during the APEC Summit in South Korea. He also announced that he plans to visit China early next year, while Xi is expected to visit the United States at a suitable time.

The two leaders also discussed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Trump said the war must end soon, while Xi emphasized that China values its relationship with the United States and wants constructive talks.
