Punjab, KP, Islamabad and GB among regions expected to receive rainfall.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain, windstorms, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms in several parts of the country over the next 24 hours.

Authorities have cautioned that strong winds, lightning, and hail may pose risks to weak infrastructure, including solar panels, electricity poles, and billboards, urging the public to take precautionary measures.

According to the forecast, rain accompanied by windstorms and thunderstorms is expected at isolated locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, upper Sindh, and northern and northeastern Balochistan.

Heavy rainfall is also likely in isolated areas of northeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab, while most other regions are expected to remain hot and dry.
