Eligible households can easily register by sending their bill reference number and identity card number via SMS to 8800. The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) will verify the data, which will then be forwarded to the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for further validation.
Once the validation process is complete, the final list of eligible households will be sent to the district administration for implementation. Additionally, the Department of Energy has received approval to set up a dedicated project management unit to ensure the program is executed successfully.
