KARACHI: 10 accused allegedly involved in various crimes were arrested from different locations of the metropolis on Friday.
An accused, who injured an online-tax driver during a robbery attempt, was arrested by the Rizvia Society Police Station, Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Central Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui said.
He said that the accused identified as Kamran Mahsud was involved in various crimes and went to jail twice.
The SSP said he was arrested with help of CCTV footages and weapon used in the crime was also recovered from his possession, adding that a case had been registered and a formal probe initiated against him.
Police arrested 9 suspects involved in criminal activities. Four pistols and two stolen motorcycles were recovered from the arrested street criminals.
Among the arrested accused are Nauman, Amir Nauman Mushtaq and Sufyan.
In another arrest, police recovered half a kilo of hashish from arrested drug dealer Noor and heroin was recovered from the arrested accused Abdullah.
A huge quantity of gutka was recovered from the arrested gutka seller Rana Iqbal. Korangi Investigation Police conducted an operation in Mehran Town and arrested the fugitive and wanted accused of police encounter Nasir.
