MIANWALI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD ) has foiled a major terror plot Rehmani Khel Mor area of Mianwali, killing three terrorists during an intense exchange of fire.
According to a CTD spokesperson, three highly dangerous terrorists were killed in the encounter, while six others managed to escape under the cover of darkness. The operation was carried out based on intelligence reports, and efforts are underway to track down and apprehend the fleeing terrorists.
The spokesperson explained that the terrorists attack at the CTD team. During the gunfight, three terrorists killed.
CTD recovered rifles, three hand grenades, bullets, and explosives from the terrorists who were killed. CTD teams had set up a blockade near Rehmani Khel Mor.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the terrorists had fully prepared to carry out large-scale attacks on police checkposts. The timely intelligence-based operation prevented a significant threat to public safety and security.
A comprehensive search operation is now in progress to apprehend the escaped terrorists.
