Meanwhile, reports suggest that the ACC is proposing a compromise solution. One option under consideration is to restrict Pycroft’s officiating duties exclusively to matches not involving Pakistan, with Richie Richardson potentially stepping in as referee for Pakistan’s games.
The PCB’s decision to threaten withdrawal from the tournament reflects their dissatisfaction with the handling of key incidents during the India match, which they view as unfair.
