London: In a landmark legal triumph, Brigadier (Retired) Rashid Naseer has secured a decisive victory in a high-profile defamation lawsuit against YouTuber Adil Raja. The London High Court ruled unequivocally in Brigadier Naseer's favour, declaring the accusations levied against him to be entirely unfounded.
The court’s decision not only exonerates Brig (R) Rashid Naseer but also imposes substantial financial penalties on Adil Raja, who has been ordered to pay approximately £350,000 in damages and legal fees a sum exceeding 130 million Pakistani Rupees (13 Crore).
In addition to the monetary compensation, Adil Raja is legally required to issue a formal public apology and submit binding assurances to the court, committing to refrain from making any future defamatory remarks regarding Brig (R) Rashid Naseer.
