Appearing on a comedy programme on a private TV channel, Shadab was asked by the host about claims made by actresses that cricketers frequently message them. Responding to the query, Shadab said, "I think even if they do, what’s wrong with it? If you don’t like it, don’t answer, ignore it." He added, "If she responds, it means she’s also interested in the conversation."Shadab further stated that many of these claims are often exaggerated, especially during cricket tournaments.
