Washington: The United States has stated that Hamas is responsible for the current situation in Gaza.
The US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce, has stated that the current situation in Gaza is the responsibility of Hamas. During a press conference, she mentioned that Hamas has refused to lay down arms and continues to hold hostages in captivity.
Tammy further said that, the United States will continue efforts to broker a ceasefire in Gaza. She also highlighted that former President Trump, along with Senator Marco Rubio and other officials, remain committed to peace. US actions with Iran demonstrate Washington’s desire for peace.
The spokesperson clarified that President Trump has changed the Middle East landscape and that the US wants Iran to normalize relations with other countries.
Regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict, she mentioned that it should end soon, and for national security reasons, some visas are being revoked.
In last she said, each country has its own autonomous policies and that the US will continue to make decisions based on its interests.
