More rain, wind, thunderstorms, and hailstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan on Monday night due to a strong westerly wave across the region, as reported by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Specifically, the twin cities, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Punjab are likely to experience more rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms in some areas. Snowfall is also expected in high mountain areas of Kashmir and northern regions.

Tuesday and Wednesday are predicted to have dry weather in most plain areas of the country, but isolated rain and thunderstorms may occur in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the morning. Southwest Balochistan may experience rain, wind, thunderstorms, heavy falls, and hailstorms during the night.

Temperature-wise, Islamabad is expected to have maximum temperatures between 22-25 degrees Celsius, while Rawalpindi may see maximum temperatures between 19-22 degrees Celsius during this period.

In the past 24 hours, rain, wind, and thunderstorms have already occurred in the twin cities and various parts of Pakistan, with significant rainfall recorded in different regions across the country.
