Continued dry weather will lead to a slow rise in daytime temperatures across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan this week.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reports that most of Pakistan is experiencing continental air.

Expect mainly hot and dry weather in most areas on Monday night and the next two days. However, Gilgit-Baltistan might see partly cloudy weather with light rain and thunder in some spots. There's no major rain expected, so temperatures are likely to go up in flat regions.

On Tuesday, Islamabad could reach temperatures between 35-37°C, and on Wednesday, between 36-38°C. Rawalpindi's temperatures will be similar.

Recently, most of the country had hot and dry weather, except for Dalbandin which got 02 mm of rain. The hottest places were Nawabshah, Mohenjo-Daro, and Jacobabad with temperatures hitting 43°C.

In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was 34°C with 56% humidity in the morning. In Rawalpindi, it was 33°C with 40% humidity during the morning.
